By Charles Muthoka
Kenya post Office Savings Bank will examine areas of partnership with the County Government of Kitui with an aim to support Governor Charity Ngilu’s development agenda for the county.
In a move that will see the county’s wealth creation agenda boosted through promoting business opportunities, the bank will consider possible areas in the private sector – to ensure the sector benefits from the pact.
In a meeting held between Kitui Deputy Governor Dr. Wathe Nzau, the bank’s Managing Director Ms Anne Karanja, the Board of Directors chairman Moses Banda and other board of directors, discussions on the ways of engagement between the two took the centre stage.
In attendance were the Ag. County Secretary Alex Kimanzi and the branch Manager Kitui Post Office Savings Bank Joseph Musyimi.
The meeting took place at the Deputy Governor’s office, today.
