World Youth Parliament (WYP) Representative for East Aftica Patrick Mwendwa today wrapped up Capacity Training for over 800 Youth and Leaders on Peace and Elections in BURUNDI.

Speaking after jetting back into the country, the prolific World Youth Parliament Rep for East Africa and TOT said;
“It has been an overwhelming experience. The UKEBURWATANS youth talents session was officially opened by Burundi First Lady Denise Bucumi Nkurunziza and attended by President’s adviser on legal affairs Hon. Benua Ntungurirwa and Madam Suavis (Ukeburwatans) East Africa community women Rep and CEO in Burundi.
The Minister for Youth Affairs Hon. Bienvenu Irakoze also graced the event”, said Patrick Mwendwa speaking to COUNTY DIARY.
Mwendwa visited youths in Ruyigi, Kitenga, Ngozi and Bujumbura Provinces, amongst other locations in the African landlocked nation.
General elections will be held in Burundi on 20 May 2020 to elect both the president and the National Assembly.
“Peace and talent trainings are part of the wider agenda being facilitated by World Youth Parliament one of the Africa’s poorest Nation” said the WYP E. Africa Rep Patrick Mwendwa.
