Parliament has finally Approved Ward Development Fund As Members of Parliament urged Kenyans To Elect wise top-notch MCA’s who can manage the funds.
The act will start working after the next general election.
The house passed the Division of Revenue Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 7 of 2021). While contributing to debate Leader of Minority, John Mbadi warned County Governments against mismanagement and theft of public money, the COUNTY DIARY REPORTS.
“Through this Bill we are approving the Ward Development Fund” Kitui south Mp Dr Kaki Nyamai said.
Now apart from the Constituency Development Fund our counties are going to have more money for development.
ODM minority leader hon Mbadi urged kenyans to elect top notch MCA’s who can manage public resources.
“It defeats logic therefore that while making such elaborate plans we should neglect to point out that some basic education is needed to manage money,” he said.
