Over 150 sacks of charcoal goes Missing after being released by Court in Mwingi

The County Government of kitui are investigating a case of larceny after a hundred and fifty sacks of charcoal went missing after a court in Mwingi ordered the release of the charcoal from the court, the COUNTY DIARY has learnt.

A lorry Registration Mumber KAV 189Y on 16th August was chartered by the county officers in Mwingi and environment officials to pick more than 150 sacks of charcoal from mwingi law court after a court released them.

It is alleged that after the officers took the Sacks of charcoal from the court, up to today the charcoals have never been traced, the sacks of charcoal were to be taken to Mwingi sub-county admin office block.
