OP-ED BY DR. JEFF KALUYU

Dr. Jeff”s political signature is… “shooting straight from the hip” no matter who gets the credit. You want to be away from his line of fire yet you will enjoy his support when it is done right

It is an example of good leadership when a leader admits that politicians openly flouted COVID-19 rules and committing to do it right.

It is also good leadership for us to see good in others when they do it right. I get frustrated when politicians adopt a policy of “deny, deny, deny” even when the sugar is all over their mouth.

There is purpose to opposites. You will never know the value of truth if liars never existed. You will never know the importance of doing good if bad acts never existed.

Strive to be rich would be absent if poverty never existed.Never underestimate the power of foolishness either.

One will never get it right until they admit what they have done wrong.H.E Uhuru Kenyatta led by saying what went wrong in the face of COVID-19.

Everyone knows that unprotected crowds were a COVID-19 risk.He stopped it.

It should now be the mode of operation going forward if we have to fix our nation. The rest of leaders can now follow suit. There is no shame to admitting what went wrong and committing to fix it. It’s leadership. Period.
