Raila Odinga has been Quoted saying the church has rejected the car given to Catholic bishop in Kisumu by Deputy President William Ruto.
The car was not a gift to the Catholic church…it was for the Bishop.
Kisumu Catholic Archbishop Philip Anyolo clarified this matter in a speech 8that he gave in Nyeri yesterday. The Archbishop said that he uses a V8 car that was gifted to him by the Catholic faithful in Kisumu.
He said that he donated the car that DP Ruto gifted to him to an organization that deals with social welfare. The Bishop even said that the organization is free to sell the car and use the proceeds to improve the welfare of society. So whoever is introducing politics in this matter is dishonest.
