Nguna’s Football to Continue, Kitui Sports Minister assures Netizens

    The government has moved to assure the football enthusiasts that the much publicised Nguna’s football tournament will continue as planned with strict adherence of ministry of health guidelines on covid19.

    Kitui ministry of health had issued contracticting statement banning all the ongoing tournaments which are being conducted in schools playing grounds to avoid the spread of the virus ahead of the reopening of schools, the COUNTY DIARY REPORTS.

    Speaking exclusively to TCD news reporter, the Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture Hon Patrick Koki Musau said, “the Nguna’s grand finale tournament will continue as planned, but with strict adherence, to the ministry of health guidelines”.

    The Host who is Mwingi West Mp hon Charles Nguna, Speaking to www.thecountydiary.co.ke said: “We have prepared enough sanitisers and facemask for the participants and fans during the events and called upon the Ministry of Health to deploy enough personnel during the event”.
