The planned construction 18M roads project by Kenya Roads Board spearheaded by Kitui County iconic Governor Charity Ngilu in Mutonguni, Kitui West will herald a new economic dawn for the over 300,000 people, COUNTY DIARY has learnt.
Subsequently the residents of Mbuini, Kakeani, Kalambya in Mutonguni, Kitui West Sub County have commented the hulking for the life-changing roads West Sub-County.
The flagship project is pegged to cost over 18 Million Kenya Shillings.
The 15 kilometers road project coming under Kenya Roads board, (KRB) is being supervised by the County Government of Kitui under the Ministry of Roads, the blueprint shows.
Telling of untold joy, the beneficiaries have expressed their untold just, hailing the Governor of Kitui Charity Ngilu for working closely with MCA Mati despite being from the different parties.
“That is the spirit of BBI. That is the spirit of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s rallying call under the Big Four Agenda” said Ngilu.
Governor Ngilu has been commended for working with all elected leaders for the sake of Residents of Kitui county,
On the same, the MCA said, he is working with Governor Ngilu closely for the sake of the Mutonguni people.
Speaking during the function, Kitui west acting deputy sub administrator Mr Yaninga said that project will be of great help to the people of Mutonguni ward..
MCA Mati further, called upon Muthale Mission Administration to harmonize Linda mama cards in the hospital where several patients have failed to get medical services despite being in possession of Linda mama cards.
The contractor is expected on the road any time soon.
