Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu has shown tremendous efforts in her move to curb water scarcity within the county.
Early last month, the Governor graced the launch of 500,000 Litres water tank at Kwavonza Town in Kitui rural Sub County, a project that has seen area residents access clean water.
The project has among other initiatives relieved area residents of the long distances travelled in such of water.
Governor Ngilu is still working on completion of the kangu Kangu water project in efforts to see Kitui South residents also benefit from clean water.
The Governor earlier last week led a ground breaking session for the installation of a 500,000 Litre water tank in Mutomo Town.
Making water accessible to Kitui County residents is Governor Ngilu’s priority in her 5 pillar Manifesto.
