Ngilu Speaks About BBI as Raila Keeps Misleading Masses



    Prolific Kitui Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu has revealed the mystery behind the handshake, BBI, and post BBI and urges NASA principals to remain United or perish politically.

    Speaking when she joined other leaders at Machakos county, the Governor of Kitui said, “let’s not beat about the bush, the Building Bridges will give direction to the 2022 general election”. Ngilu said amid applause from the members who attended The meeting.

    The ODM leader Raila Odinga keeps saying BBI is not about the 2022 presidential contest.

    Ngilu who is said to be a close ally of raila Odinga said the BBI Is all the 2022 realignment, the COUNTY DIARY has learned.

    She called upon the NASA Principals to form a formidable force that will form the next Government after the exit of President Uhuru Kenyatta if they want to remain relevant.

    The Narc party leader Charity Ngilu has challenged the NASA team to remain united if they wanted to form the next government.

    Addressing leaders drawn from Ukambani at Stoni Athi Resort in Machakos County on Wednesday, Ngilu warned that if the NASA leadership went to the polls divided, they risked losing to the deputy president William Ruto.

    The meeting was attended by NASA leaders Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper party, Musalia Mudavadi of ANC, and Moses Wetangula of Ford Kenya.

    Ngilu said that Kenyans were looking at this team that also includes ODM leader Raila Odinga to take over the mantle of leadership after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s tenure ends in 2022.

    “The country is in a state of hopelessness not knowing what to do next. All eyes of this country are looking at you to deliver the country to the next level of development.

    Kenyans want a united leadership and therefore you have no choice but to remain united,” Ngilu said.

    She warned that any form of division within the NASA coalition will work to the advantage of political competitors for the presidential election.

    “If any of you thinks they can deliver alone, it is a lie. You must remain together until we see white smoke,” Ngilu cautioned.

    The Narc party leader at the same time appealed to the NASA team to open up their coalition and accommodate other political leaders to make it stronger.

    She said her party was willing to be part of the NASA coalition.

    “I want Narc party to be part of NASA, and I am not coming in alone…I will come with others. Political parties never get full, so open up we come in. I’m going to be a fisher of everybody who is coming to NASA, I am happy the coalition is not dead, ” stated Ngilu.

    She reiterated that the coalition stood a better chance of forming the next government but only if the leaders supported one another and came up with a strong flag bearer. She added that other parties such as Kanu, Chama Cha Mashinani, and others should also be brought on board to firm up the coalition.

    The governor said the BBI would have a bearing for the 2022 elections, adding that the report was championing the unity of the country.

    “There is no development without unity and BBI is addressing that unity, bringing the country together,” she noted.
