Ngilu, Mp Racheal Nyamai Want BBI Ruling Overtuned



Two eminent women leaders, Kitui County Governor Kaluki Ngilu and Kitui South MP Racheal Kaki Nyamai have issued a rallying clarion call to push for appealing against the recent ruling on BBI, terming the initiative as a lifesaver for Kenyans.

Speaking in Mutomo market during the solemn funeral of the late rev Kavila/. Father to the MCA Mutomo Ward Hon David Masaku, the two leaders were adamant that the ruling on BBI should be appealed and overturned.

“The benefits that come with the Building Bridges Initiative are innumerable. BBI means more resources to the local mwananchi at the Ward level and therefore it’s a huge step towards the improvement of livelihoods” said Kaki.

On her part, Ngilu said;

“You can not rule against an idea whose time has come. BBI is the future of this country and ruling against it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. The youths of this country stand to gain more via BBI and therefore we need the recent ruling appealed for the benefit of our people”.

Meanwhile, Kitui South residents are basking in glory of unsurpassed development including the Tarmacking of Kitui-Kibwezi road, a spanking new Huduma Centre and an escalated Rural Electrification programme thanks to a close working relationship between MP Kaki Nyamai and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
