GOVERNOR CHARITY NGILU’S REPRESENTATIVE Koki Musau Kuvasila -CECM for Tourism Sports and Culture/Ag. Environment and Natural Resources, Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai and other leaders paid a visit to the family of the late Jeremiah Mumo Nyamu at Musiva in Mutitu-Kaliku Ward, Kitui East Subcounty to condole them after his demise.
Nyamu was attacked and killed by a stray buffalo from Kitui South Game Reserve on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
In her message, Governor Ngilu assured of the county government’s efforts in controlling stray wild animals in the affected areas by use of vehicles, KWS Chopper and a Fixed Wing Plane. She further affirmed fast-tracking compensation of the deceased victim.
The area MP Hon. Nimrod Mbai lauded Governor Ngilu for her commitment in having the stray wild animals controlled and taken back to the game reserve.
