County Opens New Facility to Ease Operations

By county diary reporter.

Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has on Wednesday relocated operations from Tanathi offices in Kitui town to the new county facility adjacent to the Kitui Central CDF offices.

The move will save the county operational costs that were earlier paid to the parastatal since the inception of the devolved system in 2013.

Speaking during the official opening ceremony, the Governor said the new building upon completion will bring together numerous departments in one compound therefore easing operations and streamlining access to information by stakeholders.

“”Our offices are scattered all-over and residents do not know the location of some departments when seeking services. When completed, the new headquarters will bring services under one roof,” she said.
