Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu was among high-level Government Officers who attended The late Bishop Dr.Nicholas Mulea burial send-off in Mutonguni ward of kitui west constituency on Saturday.
The Governor was accompanied by Trade Minister Philip Mumo, Kitui County Government workers Union chair Mr. Stephen Kitheka Kwanda, Kitui west Member of Parliament hon Vethi Nyenze, Mutonguni Area MCA hon Felix barindi, Hosts of Machakos MCAs and Makueni MCAs among Others.
Governor Ngilu described the late Bishop Mule as a Spiritual Giant and an Investor who loved his county.
The send-off ceremony was attended by over 5 thousand faithful across the country and beyond.
The late bishop had planted over 50 churches in Kenya, in Tanzania, Namibia among other countries.
leaders after leaders eulogized the late Bishop deeply and termed him as a role model to all Christians.
Speaking during the burial solemn, The Governor reiterated her commitment to stand with the family during a hard time, saying Kitui has lost a gallant son who loved his county.
The Governor also reassured the People of Kitui of her commitment to serving the people of Kitui regardless of negative politics, she cautioned leaders against using Parties to sabotage development.
The county boss urged the residents to take advantage of county tractors and use it ahead of the rainy season. She ordered those in charge of sub-county Tractors to prioritize the needy and less privileged farmers in their ward.
