A suprise impromptu tour of the Mwingi Baptist polytechnic by Governor of Kitui county and her entourage on Saturday, 15th February, 2020 took students and residents by surprise.
During the tour Ngilu reiterated her government commitment to upgrade vocational institutions.
while reassuring parents,teachers and students that she will support them to have a better institution which can accommodate more students and improve the quality of skills offered therein, Governor Ngilu reiterated her 5 Development pillars as successful.
The Governor spoke on Saturday at Mwingi Baptist Polytechnic, where she met the school management, parents and members of the community.
Also present was the Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau, MCA Mwingi Town Hon Mary Philip (Philima) and Mwingi Central Sub County Administrator Alex Mutemi, among other County officers.
