Ngilu pleads with MCAs to end unnecessary debates
Kitui County Governor Kaluki Ngilu on saturday called on Members of the County Assembly to pass crucial legislation without delay.
Citing the pending supplementary budget debate approval by CA, The Governor said further delays would lead to poor service delivery to Musangi.Speaking during the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Father Benjamin Kavale at Mbondoni Catholic Church, in Mwingi west Sub County, the Governor said the electorate needs speedy development that would only be achievable if MCAs pass the supplementary budgets in short timelines.
“2022 is not far and the electorate will vote us out if we don’t use their money to deliver on our promises and bring development in our respective areas”, she said ‘There’s no need of meaningless squabbles or playing party politics, the people who elected us have high expectations on us and we have to meet their development expectations”, she added
