On Sunday, November 29, 2020 – Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu launched the Building Bridges Initiative report signature collection at Kisasi Market, the COUNTY DIARY REPORTS.
In her remarks at Kisasi in Kitui Rural, Governor Ngilu encouraged faithfuls to support the country’s leadership on the call to amend the nation’s constitution.
Noting the need to rally behind the BBI, Governor Ngilu said the report suggests a broad range of amendments and additions to the law spanning almost all sectors of the Kenyan economic, Social and political atmosphere.
She condemned politicians opposed to the BBI report saying it was not meant to create positions as alleged.
The Governor said adminstration is keen to continue initiating developments that will improve the livelihoods of the people.
The Governor was accompanied by Kitui county government workers union chair Mr Stephen Kitheka, Chief officer Zakayo Kimanzi, Kisasi MCA Hon Kasee Musya among other leaders.
