Ngilu Holds Talks With Japanese Ambassador in Nairobi

On Monday 14, September 2020 – Governor Charity Ngilu held a meeting with Japan’s Ambassador to Kenya Mr Ryoichi Horie at the Japanese Embassy.

The two discussed areas of partnership in the health sector and the production of local pharmaceuticals and non-pharmaceutical products.

Mr Ryoichi Horie commended the efforts the county government is undertaking in getting home-based solutions for home-based problems and creating employment opportunities.

Kitui County is producing face masks, antiseptics, fumigation compounds, hand sanitizers, Mosquito nets, Coveralls for Covid-19 frontline workers, Hospital scrubs, among others.
