Ngilu Helps Raise 3.4 Million In Miambani, Drums up Support for Her Government Programs

    On Sunday, December 3, 2020 -Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu said her administration’s priority is to initiate development in sectors that guarantee the advancement of the wellbeing of all Kitui residents.

    Speaking at Miambani Catholic Church during a funds drive, Governor Ngilu reaffirmed her commitment to improving the livelihoods of Kitui people noting her government had realised tremendous achievements in line with her five-hinged development agenda.

    “I would like to restate my personal commitment to providing the leadership necessary to ensure this county grows in different sectors that affect the livelihoods of the residents,” the Governor said.

    The Governor called on the residents to continue observing Covid-19 guidelines noting that the disease had severe social-economic effects in the country.

    Also in attendance were Kitui County Assembly Minority leader Alex Nganga and Kyangwithya West MCA Boniface Katumo.

    Ksh. 3.4 million was raised in the funds drive.
