President Kenyatta Lauds MP Kaki Nyamai for exemplary leadership in lands committee and Kenya National Assembly.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has praised Kitui South Member of Parliament Dr Kaki Nyamai for exemplary work as the chair of Paliament’s lands committee.
Dr Nyamai continues to win banquets of praise from citizens of Kenya.
Dr Nyamai was voted by the August house speaker hon Justice Muturi as one of the most effective Parliamentary chairpersons.
Mp Kaki is the current lands Parliamentary committee chairperson in the August House.
Speaking at KICC during the issuance of title deeds to women groups from Samburu County, the President commended efforts by the Lands Ministry to ensure Kenyans get certification for their land.
President Kenyatta said the government will continue fast-tracking the issuance of title deeds to Kenyans to solve the long-lasting land conflicts in the country.
“I want to commend Governor Ngilu and Madam Karoney, Mp Nyamai for their efforts. We began this in 2013 and to this date, over five million title deeds have been issued”. said, Kenyatta.
Lands CS Farida Karoney said Governor Ngilu’s efforts of mass issuance of title deeds set the pace for the historic numbers of Kenyans owning land lately.
“in 50 years, Kenya issued 6 million title deeds to Kenyans, in seven years, President Kenyatta’s administration has issued 5.1 million title deeds to Kenyans. This is commendable”. She said.
