Ngilu donates 100k Cheque to AIC Ndaluni school,to fund Infrastructure.

Kitui County Governor HE charity Ngilu representative Madam Agnetta peter on Saturday attended the fund drive at AIC Ndaluni secondary in Mwingi west constituency where she donated the Governor’s 100ksh, over 300k was raised.

Ndaluni secondary school was started in 1989 by the community with 40 students from locals, but later the Africa Inland Church came on board, the school is sponsored by AIC.

The school was upgraded to county school around 2012 according to the report read by the new principal Mr. Simon Kihuria Ndirangu,

The school has been doing well in school games activities according to the principal.

Currently, the school has a low enrolment of 61 down from 257 students, last year the school had very serious leadership squabbles, which the current leadership is working to restore and correct.

The community is happy with the delocalization programme that saw the head teacher move to a different school according to BOM chair.

The Governor has reiterated her support to the school and the leadership of the school, for the purpose of making it a center of academic excellence in Mwingi west sub-county.

Ngilu urged the stakeholders to work closely so that Ndaluni secondary school gets a new lease of life, Madam agnetta who has a wealth of experience in education matters urged the students to learn and learn hard for “the future is pregnant.

On the same, the CO reaffirmed the government commitment to secure Kitui county with adequate water, its either water, water and water, The Governor Ngilu has ordered.
