Governor Charity Ngilu condoles with the family of the late Elijah Muindi, the First Mayor of Kitui who passed on Sunday Night
She described the late Mayor Muindi as a visionary leader who laid the foundations of the then Kitui Municipality, and a person who had the interests of the people he represented at heart.
Mayor Muindi who is survived by a widow Mrs Eunice Elijah Muindi, will be laid to rest on Saturday 24th at his home in Wikililye, Kitui Central Sub County.
