By COUNTY DIARY.
Residents of Kauma, Matinyani Ward in Kitui West are now a happy lot.
The source of their joy stems from the fact that the able Kitui Governor has finally commissioned and send a Grader to upgrade their roads which have remained neglected for years.
The impassable feeder roads took over one year without being graded to the required standard until the residents cried out to their able Governor Charity Ngilu who heeded to their call of distress.
And as the road grader rumbles along villages and market centres in Kauma, the once weary defranchised residents can now access a good road network courtesy of the good working rapport between Kitui County Government and the Workers’ UNION chairman Mr Stephen Kitheka and H.E Charity Ngilu.
Musili Muia, a voter in Kauma area had this to say;
“Kauma and adjoining areas has been neglected by leaders we elect and that’s why we had to send emissaries to the Governor Ngilu” he said.
And the Governor has acted swiftly sending a bulldozer rumbling along the roads clearing boulders and flattening mole hills along Kauma roads.
Musili has called also on the leaders to work in tandem and buffet the Governor of Kitui to deliver to the people.
