Kitui Governor H.E Charity Ngilu On Tuesday held talks with Mwingi Central Member of Parliament Hon. Dr. Gideon Mulyungi in Nairobi where the two agreed to work together.
This was a follow up meeting to one that brought together Kitui County leaders hosted by Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, Dr Fred Matiangi.
The two leaders in their discussion affirmed the resolve to make sure Kitui County residents live in peace and with no fear of bandits attack.
They also discussed measures to be undertaken to achieve political stability in Kitui County including joint leaders meetings to assure the public of cohesiveness and unity.
