Kitui Ngilu Bans Tanga Tanga Leaders from addressing Mourners In MWINGI as angry MUTHAMA Walks Out.


On Thursday, 9TH December, 2021. Mwingi – Kitui Governor H.E Charity Ngilu flagged by Mwingi central Hon Gideon Mulyungi led in raising funds to support burial expenses for the people who perished at River Enziu.

The governor blocked Tanga tanga leaders from addressing the mourners during the funds drive exercise where Former Machakos Senator and UDA chairman hon Muthama walked out of the meeting in hulf.

Last week a school bus plunged in that river enziu on Saturday last killing more than 33 innocent people.

Among the senior county officers present was the Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau, County Executive Committee Member Hon Patrick Musau (Kuvasila), County CECMs and hosts of Chief Officers.

The event happened at Mwingi Seminary school grounds, immediately after the Requiem mass which was officiated by Bishop Mwongela of Kitui Catholic Diocese.

Senator Muthama claimed he has a 1.5M donation he wanted to give during the Harambee but he could not because he was blocked from addressing the mourners.
