The Nairobi philanthropic and flamboyant Governor HE Mike Mbuvi Sonko was on Monday arraigned in Milimani Anti corruption Court.
The Governor, Mike Sonko, denies 19 charges of economic related crimes which was labelled against him.
He and the co-accused to spend two more nights in remand as they await ruling on bond application on Wednesday the Magistrate Douglas Ogoti has ruled
He was charged alongside several Nairobi county government employee who denied the charges.
The governor’s legal counsel include; Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, Senator Kipchumba Murkomen of Elgeyo Marakwet, Dan Maanzo-MP Makueni and lawyer Nelson Havi.
Other lawyers are; Cecil Miller, George Kithi, Alphonse Mutinda, Osundwa Michael, Harrison Kinyanjui and three others.
