Eastern Regional Youth Council Chairperson Mr Benson Kitoo Mutemi, has lauded the recent Wiper- Jubilee Post-Election Agreement co-operation agreement.
Speaking during a radio interview, Mutemi who represents 8 counties at the National Youth Council, said the idea was a well thought out move, and all sober minded individuals ought to support it.
Adding that when ODM leader Rt Hon Raila Odinga joined President Uhuru Kenyatta through a highly publicized hand shake, majority of his people have benefited through the handshake.
The Wiper party, which boasts 23 MPs at the 12th Parliament, stands a robust position in the new arrangement.
“Former VP Kalonzo Musyoka is a very sober individual. He has been patient and didn’t ruffle feathers when Raila and Uhuru and their handshake. Now he is right on the negotiation table. Kalonzo has the numbers, he has a sizeable stake in the new agreement” said the youth leader.
“We expect Kambas to be appointed in the dockets of CS, PS and notable parastatal heads in the Jubilee Administration” added Mutemi who hails from Kamandio in Kitui Central, he is believed to be eying miambani ward seat which is currently held by Kitui minority leader hon alex Nganga.
“I Urge Kamba Nation to support Kalonzo so that our people can now benefit from the government position.
