MWINGI – MP MULYUNGI today made real his promise to tame runaway insecurity in KANYUNGA, MWINGI Sub-County and gave 500K to commence the construction of a police post at the volatile area, local media reported.
Early this year, the area that hosts several training institutes grabbed news headlines after a spate of sporadic and mysterious serial killings that targeted night watchmen made residents cower in fear.
The residents, left at their own devices however appealed to the popular Wiper lawmaker to look into the issue and solve the insecurity – once and for all.
He didn’t disappoint.
