Mp Nimrod Mbai Holds Meeting President RUTO over Kitui/ Tana Border insecurity



Kitui East Member of Parliament hon Nimrod Mbithuka Mbai on Sunday held talks with president Dr William Ruto on the sideline of his busy schedule over escalated Insecurities along Kitui/ Tana Border locale.

Taking to his social Media, the UDA strong Man in Kitui wrote.

I took time this afternoon to meet the President over the Insecurity issue along the Kitui/ Tanariver Border and I assure my people that it all shall be well.

Thank you HE William Ruto for your commitment to the people of Kitui and Kenya”

The issue of perennial border insecurity along the Kitui/ Tana river border has been a big concern for the residents of Kitui county, especially the ndee Nation.

The insecurity Issue around herds of Camels that come in large numbers to invade the farms of the Kamba community and later kill people from kitui once they are repulsed back has been a big concern from local leaders.

“The vast, pasture-rich, open lands remain unoccupied, nomadic herders have been flocking in. Methink the secret lies in peaceful integration and innovation instead of exclusion. How can we gainfully use the lands e.g. massive cow breeding, goat, donkey keeping or other viable economic activities”

Social Media User wrote on the leaders forum dubbed Kitui Profesional chat – Online platform that comprises who is who in Kitui county.

Mp Mbai has single-handedly led the exercise campaign to drive back camels from the soil of kitui until he earned a Nick Name,” Mbai Wa Maangi”

He has now taken the matter to the highest office office in the land where he met president William for the lasting solution, he has assured that all will be well.
