Mp Nguna scouts for the first Public University in larger Mwingi


Mwingi west member of Parliament hon Charles Nguna is working on the establishment of the first public university in larger of Mwingi, the COUNTY DIARY has learnt.

Nzatani University is irresistible despite the new rigid regulations, imposed by the Commission for University Education (CUE) which hit universities in Kenya like a tornado during the time of the renown Matiang’i regime.

Lecture rooms and administration block are at 97% completion with only few electrical and paintworks remaining.

Hon. Charles Nguna and the (SEKU) University council will me making a visit to the institution on 4/12/2019 which will determine the fate of the University, of which romours says that the first intake may take place in April 2020.

The mp is said to be in talks with seku to open a campus at the kasina techinal at itoloni in migwani ward, in Mwingi West constituency
