Residents of Kitui South Constituency are a lucky lot. The reason for their happiness is clear to all and sundry.
Kitui South Constituency manager Mr Dominic Musango today 1/05/20 issued tens of hand washing water tanks to Ikanga Satellite CDF office , Kyatune(chief’s office ) , UAE and Mutomo chief’s office.
“These are to be distributed to interior towns in Kitui south to curb the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic” he said.
The CDF team also distributed masks and Sanitizers to bodaboda riders in Mutomo market. Read more : Covid19 war must we won.
The whole exercise was carried out under the supervision and courtesy of Kitui south NG-CDF under the leadership of the able and benevolent Hon Dr Rachael Kaki Nyamai.
Meanwhile area residents have expressed their appreciation in the matter in which the area Mp is doing to curb the pandemic in the area and it’s environs.
According to a business lady in Mutomo Madam Damaris Kasamu who spoke to our reporters, the MP is not only Godsend but a savior of the masses.
She said;
“The strategy of Curbing the spread of Covid 19 pandemic in Kitui south is super. We are happy that every one is on board to curb this pandemic”
Meanwhile the Kitui South popular legislator has called on the people to wash hands with running water and soap, sanitize, wear masks in public places, in line with the ministry of health care guidelines.
