Mp Kaki Nyamai Lauds Governor Ngilu As an ICON In Women Leadership

    Prolific Kitui South legislator Dr. Racheal Kaki Nyamai has said the Building bridges Initiative Report which is due to be made Public Must Include More positions for the women in Kenya.

    Speaking during Mashujaa day celebration at Mutomo, the popular legislator said the gains and sacrifice made by the likes of the late Martha Wangari, Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu and other female leaders can not be overlooked.

    The budding legislator flagged by Kitui woman representative Dr Irene Kasalu lauded Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu for tirelessly fighting for the rights of women in Kenya.

    Nyamai said they are waiting for the BBI report in order to Read it objectively and scrutise it, saying it must be pro-women to be supported by women.

    Ngilu has been on the forefront demanding the space for women and urging women to go for elective posts.

    The Legislator’s Comments were echoed by Kitui Professional Chat Top Political Commendator – saying “Ngilu is among the senior Most women leader in Kenya the rest must work below her”.
