Dr. Kaki Leads Fellow MPs in Celebrating Moi


Kitui South Member of Parliament Dr Rachael Kaki Nyamai on Tuesday led a cross-section of Members of Parliament in celebrating the life of late President Daniel arap Moi, the COUNTY DIARY has learnt.

Flagged by several MPS at the National Assembly chambers, the MPs sang and danced in honour and respect to the fallen hero who mentored several leaders in the country during his 24 year reign.

President Moi death has attracted thousands of Kenyans who have converged in Nairobi to view his body at the Parliament Buildings.

Leaders from all over the country have continued to eulogize the late President, terming him as a towering Statesman who preached unity and love for all during his reign.

“It was my father, a former chief who took me to Mutomo to recite a poem for President Moi when I was in High School. I was humbled by his humility and leadership and I emulate him everyday” said Kaki.

Dr Kaki is among leaders who were mentored by the late President from their early stages of life.
