Kitui mini Agricoultural exhibition event held in Mwingi central at Ikuuni, Kivou Ward Mwingi sub county
The event was led by agriculture Chief Officer Eng James Songolo , the CO Urged farmers to sow short rainy seeds coz this season Rain might not be enough,
Again he urged youths to involve themselves in farming especially bee farming as a way of eradicating poverty in Kitui county
Meanwhile promised that from next week 23 farming tractors will be reaching farmers whereby each ward will be having it’s own tinga tinga as a way of making farmers get sufficient food
The County Agriculture Chief Officer James Mbii Songolo was In a company of Ministry of Agriculture officers, Water and Livestock Development stakeholders and representatives from all other Ministries during capacity mapping in preparation for partnership with World Food Programme (WFP).
