Residents of Migwani SubCounty in Mwingi West Constituency have today expressed their joy as Governor Charity Ngilu issued to them a brand new ambulance.
Speaking while addressing a small team present to receive the ambulance, the minister in charge of two minstries, Tourism,sports, and culture – and Ag Minister in charge of Environment and Natural Resources Hon Patrick Koki Kuvasila, who was representing the Governor, called upon the residents utilize the vehicle as is required.
“This is a milestone for you people of Migwani. You’ve suffered while on a very old ambulance…… This one is brand new, utilize it.” Kuvasila reiterated.
Further he called upon the residents to continue practicing social distancing and personal hygiene to ensure that none contracted the novel Corona Virus.
Present during the Handing over ceremony was the Migwani Sub County Administrator, Joyce Mwendwa, Migwani Level 4 Hospital Medical Superintendent, Dr. Chris Waihenya and a handful of residents.
This ambulance is Aimed at improving the services offered to patients served by Migwani Level 4 hospital.
