Kitui Deputy Minority Leader who doubles as Matinyani Member of County Assembly Hon Sylvester Kitheka has lauded Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu for being a transformational leader and an icon in Kenya social-economic upgrades.
The County Narc legislator was speaking during the burial ceremony of the spouse to the late Ambassador Mwanzia, Nellie Ithae in Matinyani Ward, Kitui West.
The cool and bold Ngilu’s trusted Narc MCA and henchman urged residents to continue supporting the Governor.
“Governor Charity is what Kitui needs. An industrial revolution and agricultural icon like Charity Ngilu has set Matinyani towards becoming a County within a county because the residents here have fully embraced the government development agenda”
Others who attended include Former Attorney General Matthew G. Mulli’s family led by Lady Justice Agnes Murgor and Senior Counsel Philip Murgor, Kitui West MP Edith Nyenze.
Kitui CECM for Environment Patrick Musau Kuvasila, Green Africa CEO Dr. Isaac Kalua Green, Senior Council Wilfred Nyamu Mati.
Other dignitaries include Businessman Dennis Kavili attended the send off ceremony of the late Nellie Ithae Mwanzia, the spouse to the late Ambassador Dr. Philip Mwanzia.
She was laid to rest at their rural home in Matinyani, Kitui West Subcounty.
At the same venue, Yaamu castigated Musila for simply having no agenda for the county.
He praised Governor Ngilu for universal health care, women empowerment fund. Burial was very peaceful until Kimanzi mentioned Musilas name, but that is a story for another day.
