Yatta Kwa Vonza Member of Kitui County County Assembly Hon Mark Nding’o was among the leaders who attended the retirement ceremony of the celebrated SEKU Vice Chancellor Prof Geoffrey Muluvi.
Nding’o, the area MCA applauded the Outgoing SEKU Vice Chancellor Professor Muluvi for leading SEKU to be among the top ten Universities In Kenya through his progressive and advanced leadership skills.
The MCA wondered why the VC’s term had to end and asked policymakers to review the term limit for VC so that the continuation of Good work could be safeguarded.
SEKU, also known as South Eastern Kenya University, is undoubtedly a source of immense pride for its students, faculty, and surrounding community, MCA Ndingo added.

“This institution of higher learning has consistently sought to provide quality education, foster innovation, and contribute to the overall development of the region.
With its commitment to academic excellence and a strong emphasis on research and community engagement, it has become a beacon of hope and progress in the area” Ndingo added.
The MCA of Kwa Vonza, Ndingo, expressed his admiration and appreciation for SEKU, particularly its outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Muluvi. Ndingo lauded the remarkable transformations and positive impact that SEKU has brought to Kwa Vonza, creating a sense of pride and optimism among the local population.

The MCA asked the incoming VC to follow the good leadership measures left by Professor Geoffrey Muluvi so that the university can continue to grow.

The Governor also praised the outgoing South Eastern Kenya University Vice chancellor as an outstanding career don who has left an indelible mark of achievement at the university.
