OPINION: I saw a post somewhere about a Muslim lady who is in love with a Christian guy but neither is willing to change their religion for their love. I asked a Christian Catholic friend what she thought about that scenario and she said that their bishop always advises young people never to leave their faith for marriage.

I think that makes sense. Faith or religious convictions are the bedrock of the rest of how you conduct your life. A marriage is a huge responsibility and differences in religious matters are detrimental to marriage, especially the average marriage which is nothing more than some ego power trip. There are advanced couples whose differences are the spice of their love.

So I agree with the bishop, considering the level of those he advises such. But for those at another level, I say, “Never sacrifice or betray your love for your religious faith”!

Love is the only reality and loves trumps over all illusions, It is also funny how religions teach love but at the same time separate lovers. A very funny scene.
