On Friday 14th – July 2023 – Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe (EGH) joined the residents of Chuluni in Kitui East during the laying to rest ceremony of the late Pst. Peter Munyaka who until his demise ministered at AIC Mbangulo in Kanduti DCC.
The Governor, in his speech, said his development agenda is based on the real issues facing the people noting that his government is on track towards realisation of development across the county.
On his part, Kitui Rural MP Hon Mwalika commended Governor Malombe for his development efforts so far and pledged to support him and guarantee that people have access to quality healthcare, access to education, water among other necessities.
Chuluni MCA *Vuthi Ngovi and his Mbitini ward counterpart Nzavu Mwanzia expressed commitment to continually support the Governor even in their oversight role noting the two arms shared the responsibility to develop the county and had to work for the realisation of their respective mandates.
They thanked the Governor for the complete and the ongoing development projects at the wards saying the journey of transforming the grassroots had kicked off.
