Machakos Senator Boniface Kabaka was on Friday rushed to hospital after complaining of a headache while in the company of a woman from Wote at an apartment along Elgeyo Marakwet Road, Kilimani Nairobi.
The Senator’s wife reported the incident at Kilimani police station under OB 84/04/12/2020 that she received a report from the Senator’s PA Isaac Muinde that he had been rushed to Nairobi Hospital and admitted at the ICU.
“She went to the said Hospital accompanied by other family members among them her co-wife namely Vascoline Katanu Kabaka where she established that the Senator was brought by paramedics after falling sick while in an apartment along Elgeyo Marakwet Road within Kilimani. ” a police report at the station read.
The family of the senator has since issued statement on the incident.
STATEMENT ON STATE OF HEALTH OF MACHAKOS SENATOR KABAKA
The Second Senator of Machakos County Hon Boniface Mutinda Kabaka, Advocate collapsed yesterday (Thursday 3rd December, 2020) while having a drink in a restaurant in Kilimani area but was still conscious and he requested the management to call for ambulance to rush him to Nairobi Hospital.
Senator Kabaka was admitted to Nairobi Hospital where doctors suspected a case of blood clot affecting his nervous system.
Today, at 2PM, Kabaka was taken to theatre and he is still there to this hour. As the family of Senator Kabaka, we promise to keep Machakos County Residents and his friends from around the country updated on the state of the health of the Senator.
Those who know Senator Kabaka know him to be a gentleman of high moral standing whose integrity is above reproach and unimpeachable.
We urge you to ignore the fake and malicious rumours being spread by some petty, callous and heartless political enemies to malign the good name of the Senator while he is helpless and fighting for his dear life.
