The National Census Exercise begins on 24th -30 August this week and I’m calling upon Kitui east residents to avail themselves for this important national exercise, Kitui East Constituency Member of Parliament hon Nimrod has said.

The Mp through his press team quoted a biblical verse Luke 2: 2– to support the importance of the census, the sentiment were echoed by wiper leader Dr Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, through his official communication, were he urged all people to avail themselves for the important national exercise.
Census forms the basis of the resource planning and allocation across the country enables the government to plan for the various health and wellbeing program.
National Census enables the government of the day to collect revenue effectively, which can be redirected to development projects,Using information obtained from the census exercise.
For the government to serve you better these crucial data is very important , Hon Nimrod told Kitui county members of fourth estate and asked people of good will to preach this information to all residents of Kitui East and beyond.
