The former Vice President Dr. Kalonzo Musyoka publically told off the Deputy President William Ruto who is seeking for a political alliance with him ahead of 2022 polls, dismissing any possibility of the percieved political alliance with him.

The two met at the funeral of former Cabinet Secretary Amb. Cleopas Mailus’s mother at Makindu in Makueni County. The Wiper Party leader did not mince his words “2022 is three years away, I know the news the people are waiting to write; that I have met Ruto again, that is not true, we came for a funeral” Kalonzo blasted a section of media who he blames for misrepresentation of facts.

“Wiper is straight and for now we are working with Uhuru for the remaining part of his term,” he chastined the Deputy President and allies who asked the former VP to consider working with him.

Musyoka narrated how Wiper had passed a resolution as a Party to support President Kenyatta in the war against corruption and detribalizing the country. The African Special envoy to Southern Sudan narrated how tribalism the world’s youngest nation down after a civil war broke in 2013 and warned Kenyans against celebrating ethnic politics “This is what we are courting here in our country.

I want to declare here that i will never be part of that negative tribal formulation” said Musyoka ” If we want to save this country Mr. DP let us open doors for one another as i advised during the launch of BBI.I disagree with those leaders who say for you to visit Ukambani you need my consent.

When i go to seek votes in Rift Valley ahead of 2022 i dont want your Kalejin community there to see me as; Kalonzo a Kamba” he said adding that he wants everyone who wishes to seek votes in South Eastern or any other place in Kenya to do so without ethnic condemnation.

He said that before the handshake the Jubilee regime had punished the Ukambani region for not voting for them but their truce came as a relief coz it has opened doors for members of the community to be appointed in government. “People dont have to feel coz we voted in a certain way, we have to be victimised,” cautioned Kalonzo.

He however lamented that some hell bend people close to Ruto were pushing the narrative that he was Pro – Ruto to remove him from the negotiating table with President Uhuru over the political storm that has pitted the President and his Deputy in two rival camps of the ruling Jubilee Party;

Kieleweke and Tanga Tanga .”Murkomen please talk about the problems you have in your Jubilee and don’t infect us your tribulations” ~ he warned as he pointed Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen who had sat near the DP.

“So from today let us make it clear we have no option but to unite this country, over that please take it to the bank we must unite Kenya so that it even makes sense for someone to want to be President or Prime Minister ” Musyoka castigated those opposing expansion of the executive noting that the winner take all has proven cumbersome.

The tough speaking Wiper Party leader defended the politicians who are seeking political realeignments but ordered the BBI Team to de-politisize their programmes and outline the agendas to squash the notion that it is about creating positions for individuals.

While responding to concerns over his alleged secret meetings with Ruto in Sudan early in the week as reported by a section of media, Musyoka told mourners that it was by coincedence that they had impromtu meeting occasioned by fight hitches on his way to Juba.

“Nothing pre-planned happened,there was no meeting at all. It is a desperate attempt to say the meeting was pre-planned. The DP was in the company of Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi. Also present at the airport was Kenya’s ambassador Chris Mburu,” Kalonzo

Deputy President William Ruto has asked Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to consider working with him ahead of the 2022 General Election.

Ruto caught everybody on surprise when he openly begged Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to consider ditching Raila and work with him ahead of the 2022 General Election. “The only mistake I made is that I failed to tell Kalonzo their candidate would not become President, Stephen, I helped Uhuru become President twice and he is about to retire.

My friend, lets walk together and move this country forward “ said a desperate Ruto. He also asked the Kamba community not to give Kalonzo conditions that he must be President but rather rally behind him and let him negotiate power with other leaders from different communities.

This comes the same day ODM party leader Raila Odinga shocked Kenyans by announcing that he will not contest for Presidency during a BBI forum in Bukungu Stadium Kakamaga County on Saturday.
