A hot conversation is raising in Kitui Rural constituency as the residents call for an immediate action on the Dusty Chinese Lorries ferrying ballast from Kwa Kilui crusher along Kwa Vonza ~ Kanyangi road in Kitui Rural ~ Kitui County.
Of great importance for a society has been demanding for immediate address is the healthy hazards the community is being exposed to over the dust issues which should have been addressed before the extraction and crushing of the ballast.
It’s in record that the former vocal KRC Mp Hon Charles Nyamai has been demanding for rra clear and substantiative communique from the County Gvt and the entire leadership over which the locals have been neglected in decision making on the recent on installed Kwa Vonza ballast crusher which has since erupted mixed reactions from the residents, and KRC importance arguing the community has never been involved in compensation, benefits and CSR projects expected to be reaped from the project.
Hon Nyamai says” ” We really have a serious challenge and unless we fight for ourselves(takasau kakya..we will soon be putting some proposals for consideration but nonginya twiyuve kavyu ukuli.._ ”

Late this week, Kitui Governor Ms. Kaluki Ngilu together with the Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Hon Mbaki Kisangau who also doubles up as the County Assembly minority leader visited Kwa Kilui area and assured residents of immediate redress on the Chinese Lorries which have been traversing the area carrying tonnes of ballast leaving the residents on verge of contracting respiratory diseases with no means of medical attention available, water and quality infrastructure.
