On Wednesday, 16th June, 2021 -Kitui CECM for Gender, Sports and Culture Mrs Helenah Ken visited a number of health facilities in Mwingi West Sub County, starting with Kisovo Dispensary in Kisovo Village, then later moved to Itang’eli Dispensary which is also in Kisovo Village of Migwani Ward.
All County Executive Members and a number of senior officers are in their home Sub County, inspecting health facilities to assess the readiness for Universal Health Cover (UHC), which will be launched by Governor Charity Ngilu very soon.
The team is also inspecting other development projects financed by Kitui County Government, under the leadership of Governor Charity Ngilu.
In both Dispensaries, much has been done and therefore the facilities are in a position to offer health services to the community and the little remaining will be addressed soon because, the visit is also intended to boost service delivery in the county.
