On FRIDAY, 3RD DECEMBER, 2021 – kitui finest nurse Madam Christine Sammy won the coveted beyond zero health award at State House, Nairobi.
Madam Christine who works at kitui referral hospital has continued to win a banquet of praises from healthcare stakeholders for her escalated service to humanity both in Kenya and abroad.
She is County Neonatal & Child Coordinator Christine Sammy (OGW)
Kitui County Nurse Madam Christine Sammy (centre), was Awarded by First Lady H.E Margaret Kenyatta, with the Beyond Zero Health Award Winner during a Summit held at Nairobi State House.
Madam Christine Sammy’s victory is not only for her but also for the entire Kitui County and beyond the borders.
Speaking to the TCD, Madam Christine said she feels so nice to have achieved her goals. “My project which made me win the award was about saving newborn lives through newborn resuscitation skills training and kangaroo mother Care for premature babies” she added.
