Despite the latest court order shielding public servants eyeing political seats from resigning, Kitui Central Parliamentary Hopeful Hon. Bonnie Musambi leaves Kenya Broadcasting Corporation tomorrow.
Musambi will be doing his final TV bulletin at 7pm today alongside his co-anchor Sarafina Robi and then his final Zinga show on RadioTaifa tomorrow morning.
Reports indicate that the philanthropic media personality will be interviewed on Radio Taifa from 8am tomorrow where he may be outlining his next move.
To catch the interview, tune to Radio Taifa or download KBC online App from Google Play store and click on Radio Taifa.
The ever-smiling Mulango son has worked at KBC for 14 years, offering his services as Radio & TV presenter, Corporation MC, and was also seconded for a contract at BBC where he presented BBC Sema Kenya programme which was done across the 47 counties of Kenya.
He helped KBC gain it’s lost glory because of his catchy Radio show and Utafiti segment on TV.
He leaves colleagues and fans perplexed wondering who will fit in his shoes. He earned nicknames like Kijana Mtall, Bonnie Bonnie, Lukaku, Bonnie Dos Santos Musambi Da Silva among others.
Back at home, his supporters can’t wait to have him full time as they back him for the Kitui Central Parliamentary seat which is expected to be a two-horse race duel between him and Dr. Benson Makali Mulu. It will be B vs B.
County diary congratulates Bonnie Musambi for his exemplary service at KBC!
