Kitui girl from kileve in kavisuni in kitui rural constituency whose mother committed suicide over the failure to raise school fees will continue to her education dreams courtesy of Marion school of compassion.

The daughter identified as kalumu kioko had threatened to commit suicide if the parents do not raise the school fees county diary reports

Kitui women representatives hon Dr Irene kasalu visited the family on Thursday morning to bring her heartfelt condolences and to take the girl to school. Upon her arrival she met the Marion compassion school director who had arrived earlier to the family and picked the girl and her one year old sibling to
Marion Compassion school in kahawa west in kiambu Nairobi.

Dr Kasalu has promised to take her older brother Denis kioko who sat for KCSE last Year to university, kasalu told the marion school director that she will be visiting the girl in the school to mentor her, Dr Irene Said Such bright young girl could be the next women women rep or the Governor in future

Dr Irene kasalu called upon the National government to provide free education from primary school to University saying the government is well able to do so,

kitui rural member of parliamemt hon Boni Mwalika speaking to our reporters has called upon parents to always visit his office and share the frustration instead of taking wrong decision,

The woman identified as Esther Ndanu Kioko, is said to have taken the decision after her daughter threatened to kill herself, the couple has been having family squambles .The mother of three claimed regretted that she could not raise the money needed to take her daughter to high school according to neighbors.

Kisasi MCA hon Kasee Musya who is also the deputy county speaker, speaking to the County diary reporters said the government needs to get data of vulnerable people in every ward to avoid such occurences,the DS said he is working closely with the family members to organize the burial preparation for the late woman.

The daughter had scored 396 marks in Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE)
