On Friday, November 27, 2020 – The Kenya National Highways Authority (KENHA) said it will extend a 5.5-kilometre road construction (tarmacking) of the Nzambani – Mutitu road.
This was revealed by Eng. Kaburia, the Lower Eastern Regional Director KeNHA when a team of officers from KENHA visited Kitui and held a meeting with Governor Charity Ngilu.
Governor Ngilu’s adminstration is keen on continued working relationships with other development partners to improve service delivery in the county.
The national government has embarked on upgrading existing roads to bitumen to ease access of rural market centers, rehabilitating existing roads and routine maintenance of existing roads to improve the transport sector in the country.
KeNHA team also toured the Kitui – Kavisuni road during their visit.
