Elaborate plans towards eliminating cases of catheter illness in Kitui County are at an advanced stage, a leading medical doctor has revealed.
Speaking exclusively with COUNTY DIARY EDITOR, decorated Urological Consultant and laparoscopic surgeon Dr Joshua M Matu, who deals with surgical and medical diseases of men and women in Kenya and abroad has revealed his elaborate plans to eliminate catheter illness in the vast county.
Dr Matu’s dream is to make Kitui a catheter free county in collaboration with the Kenya Association of urological surgeons and foreign personnel.
Revealing that the registration for the exercise is ongoing at the fully-fledged and modern Jordan Hospital facility, the medic said that the exercise will close on 30th January 2021.
“An operation will be performed on 21st to 23rd Feb 2021 at Jordan hospital by all leading Urologists in the country and foreign faculty,” said Dr Matu.
People have been urged to kindly pass the communication to those in need and make as many referrals as possible.
