The mega Thwake dam which is already under construction requires over 23 Million metric tonnes of ballast which is supposed to be sourced from Kitui County.
The crusher, already erected by the County Government of Kitui at Kwa Kilui in Kitui Rural has a capacity to produce 120 tones of ballast per hour.
The Kitui ballast crusher will open new wealth creation opportunities for the residents through direct and indirect job opportunities hence improving the livelihoods of the people and the economy of the county at large.
